Clubs and Lodges
OPAL has a proud 50 year history, coloured with rich narratives from all four seasons. It is indeed an all-season, dynamic club which is both attentive and progressive in its approach. OPAL Ski Club offers simple but comfortable accommodation all year round. It's comprised of 3 levels: Level One entry to the lodge with wet area including drying room, ski storage as well as 2 bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom. Level Two consists of kitchen, dining area, lounge room opening to a large balcony and a further 2 bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom. Level Three consists of 2 bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom. The lodge will accommodate up to 24 people at a time.
In the late 1970’s a group of Polish Australians formed a club with the objective of building a family ski club lodge at Mt Buller. The lodge has 28 beds in five bedrooms each with its own dedicated bathroom and toilet. The lodge has a large self catering kitchen and spacious dining area and lounge.
